These four friends were students at Northwest College in the 60's, but their in depth friendship was forged in their post college years when they all lived in Alaska. This summer they came together for their own reunion weekend at the farm home of Keith & Connie (Hall) Krueger in Wakefield, NE. They converged on Connie's Nebraska farm from their respective homes in Wichita, KS, Westlake, OH and Spokane, WA.
Connie says, "We had a wonderful reunion... We drank lots of coffee... Cried and laughed and acted silly and took a ton of pictures. The rich fellowship of sharing our lives with one another was priceless. The older we get the more valuable our friendships are to us." Our prayer times were awesome. We led worship on Sunday am. It felt so good to sing 3 part harmony again.
The
farm is a great place to get together. There are very few distractions.
Sitting outside one night we could hear coyotes howling in the east
and the cows calling their calves in the west. We plan to do this
every year."
