The Magnanimous Truth tells the story about four missionaries and four Indian national leaders who greatly influenced my life when Barbara and I were missionaries in India and with Global University. Each chapter tells the story of one of these great men of God with our story in missions interwoven with theirs. So the book is biographical and to some extent autobiographical.
The book also has components that are theological and devotional. The theme of each chapter is illustrated by the life of a special person and then tied to Biblical truth.
The four missionaries in the book are Dr. George Flattery, Rev. Charles Greenaway, Dr. Mark Buntain, and veteran missionary for over sixty years, Rev. Andrew McCabe. The four national leaders are Dr. P. C. Samuel - AGNI General Superintendent, Pastor George Varghese - GU National Director for New Delhi, Pastor Robert Jeyaraj - NWDC District Superintendent, and Pastor Ivan Powar.
