Well, friends and family, we feel so touched by the Lord. Ardyth is still in Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, recovering from her surgery. The only pain she is experiencing is caused from her now eating whole food and it is digesting and making her bowels work. For those of you who have had surgery, you know how this works and is painful, also creating gas and whatever.
She is still draining from her colon surgery, so the Dr. is keeping her in the hospital for close observation. Once that is ok, she will come home. We have no date as to when that will happen, but hopefully in the next 2 or 3 days. Some ask about her pancreas surgery, as to whether it will still happen. Yes, the plan is that this will take place sometime in mid-November, unless or course when that time arrives, there is no tumor to be found. She will be hospitalized for 7-10 days and hopefully, full recovery will welcome in the New Year.
Thanks again for all your prayers, and for those close by, your visits to see her or your talks with me. These visits are an encouraging time for her, and a tremendous help for me. I did get the office on Friday to catch on a few things. I will keep you posted.
Love, Jack and Ardyth.
