Larry Maser was a student at Northwest College during the 1963-64
school year. After
a year at Northwest, he moved to the Sacramento, California area where
he lived for the rest of his life. He drove city buses for
several years in Sacramento. He was fascinated with "Big Rigs" all his
life and eventually became a big rig (18 wheeler) driver with his wife.
He drove mostly on the West Coast but made several runs
across the country as well.
Larry was not serving the
Lord for many years but finally got back to God eight years before he
passed away. Larry shared with the Dr. that no matter the outcome
of the treatment, it was going to be okay because he was ready to meet
the Lord. On February 12, 1995 he died of a heart attack while
receiving treatment for cancer in San Francisco, California. He
is interred in Rio Linda, California. He was 51 years old.
