Larry Hardy's Personal update:

October 15, 2014

We are now going on 8 weeks sense the CyberKnife treatments and hopefully with in the next 5 or so weeks a scan or MRI will be scheduled to find out how the CyberKnife did and what is the next step. We are praying for a report that the tumor is dead and dissolved. The next question is about what shape the number four vertebrae is in and well I need back surgery. Our prayer is that God took care of the vertebrae as he took care of the tumor. Again I am reminded that I and my body is in the Palm of His hand. I had that pain blocker shot done on September 3 on the sciatic nerve that ran down my right leg. I’m scheduled again on October 15 to have a second pain blocker done on a nerve pockets next to my right hip.

I have been blessed for the past five weeks or so with a very low pain level and the ability to do exercise to strengthen my legs and body. During my three stays at the hospital, I lost my balance, so part of my exercise program is learning how to walk again without a walker or cane. Two weeks ago Sunday I also got to go to Sunday school for the first time since Father’s Day. What a blessing to be able to get out and see old friends again from church.

I thank each one of you for all your prayers and love. For I am convinced and fully believe that the many blessings and events that has happen and is happening in my body these past couple of months is accomplished by all your prayers. Juanita and I feel your prayers and love on a daily basis. Especially on the days that we have doctors appointments and challenges. We are waiting for the next great blessing that is going to happen in our lives that is going to allow us to be a powerful witness of God’s healing power and love. Please continue to pray with us as we look forward and experience this great blessing that God has in store for our lives. For all this going on in this world, I am convinced that the time is short and that we must tell as many people as possible that God loves them and that he wants to be a part of their life.
