Good morning, Samara

The morning is nearly gone already. I need to get on with a big long list.

Thanks much for your message. It’s always good to get some feedback.

Have a great day before Christmas

Love, Tua.

Proverbs 24
Focus: "Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter. If you say, "But we knew nothing about this," does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who guards your life know it? Will he not repay each person according to what he has done?” Proverbs 24:11-12.

My Biblical understanding is that every single human being who has ever been born in all time will one day stand before their Maker—whether they know it or not—whether they like it or not. It is an absolutely certain and unavoidable appointment. And those with the normal gifting of human intelligence will be required to give an accounting of how they performed their responsibilities before Him (Matthew 16:27; Revelation 22:12). One of my deepest fears is that that appointment will not go well for many, if not, most.

I’m sure you are aware, Samara, that there is a huge controversy going on in our American culture over the matter of abortion. I see a connection between the FOCUS VERSES and that controversy. Many want to view the matter of abortion as a human right—as a woman’s reproductive right. Viewing it that way causes the act of abortion to be a matter of nothing more than birth control to protect sexual irresponsibility—giving legal endorsement for people to engage in all kinds of sexual activity outside the boundaries of marriage—with the option of killing the baby being developed if an unwanted pregnancy occurs.

We, on the other hand who recognize God’s intentions, designs, and purposes as demonstrated by the whole spectrum of male and female attractions, distinctive parts, the ideal of permanent marriages, reproducing children, nurturing families—we see abortion as a destructive evil—and the marvel of bearing children as a sacred privilege and responsibility before God. Not only should we not engage in the popular perversity of extramarital sex and abortion, we should speak out against the slaughter of innocent human lives who need protection the most—and we should do what we reasonably can to intervene.

Here is a relevant point concerning this matter: EVERY PERSON WHO WISHES TO APPROVE OR PROMOTE ABORTION HAS HIMSELF BEEN BORN. And here is another relevant Bible fact: “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27, KJV).

“Do not fret because of evil men or be envious of the wicked,
for the evil man has no future hope, and the lamp of the wicked will be snuffed out.”
